The Retro 8, or R8 Pilates Reformer is an 8 wheel reformer developed to emulate various aspects of Joseph Pilate's original classic reformers.  From the distance of the carriage and footbar, size of the carriage, placement of the spring bar, height of the footbar and the overall height of the reformer.  We've also incorporated height adjustable pulley risers and silent straps, instead of the traditional leather straps.  This design feature ensures that the positioning of the pulley closely emulates that of a conventional machine.

The R8, being a modern take on a classic reformer incorporates a footbar with 5 different positions - including a flat position together with a host of efficient adjustment mechanisms.

The patented rapid change spring bar as seen on our full commercial reformers has been incorporated into the R8, and while the standard unit comes with 4 springs, a unique feature allows the addition of a 5th spring if required!

The choices continue with the R8 - and you now have a choice of colour with the frame being offered in either Black or White!  And you also have a choice of our standard reformer options such as a leg extension kit, jump board, platform extender & sitting box.  Coupled with our range of additional accessories - rings, weighted ball, weighted bracelets and soft balls, we have all your needs covered.

The R8 comes with a user capacity of 120kg, and stands as the best value light commercial reformer on the market!  The combination of a traditional Pilates reformer design, coupled with a host of user friendly adjustments, increased range of motion and enhanced adaptability to accommodate various body sizes shows this reformer is truely an exceptional interpretation of a timeless concept.
